Waze should not let other apps change “Play sounds via Bluetooth phone call”.
This screws up some vehicles interfacing with waze via their oem radios and oem phone controls. I want to use waze thru CarPlay but sounds ar3 lost and you cannot manually change setting back to phone controls.

Wrong pronounciation of road name
Brilliant app but.... We live in Felmingham, Norfolk and Waze pronounces it as Phlegmingham which makes our toes curl everytime we hear it! hope this reaches the right person.

BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS UK VOICES.
The new UK voices (with street names) in the May 2022 update are awful. The female one sounds like she is about to explode with excitement, warning you of a hazard, and the male like he has just spent years at a private school.1 vote -

English for South Africans
I nominate Darren Maule, a South African radio DJ, comedian and local celeb, to do English (South Africa) voice over for navigation. His voice can be soothing or silly, and there are no current options for a South African accent and colloquialisms (e.g. "Eish" you missed your turn off, and we call traffic lights "robots" etc.) You can find him on LinkedIn.
